TG4 Celebrates Remarkable Performance in March 2024

TG4 is thrilled to announce its outstanding performance in March 2024, marking a significant milestone for the Irish Language channel.
 
For the first time since April 2008, TG4’s monthly audience share surpassed 3%, reflecting a notable surge in the channel’s popularity among viewers in Ireland.
 
March was a month filled with exciting programming, highlighted by extensive coverage of the Allianz Leagues. Throughout the month, TG4 broadcast a total of 20 matches, encompassing both football and hurling. The Allianz Football League Division 1 Final, featuring Dublin and Derry, emerged as a standout event, drawing an average audience of 230,900 for the ‘GAA Beo’ game.
 
In addition to sports coverage, March also saw the highly-anticipated return of ‘Contractors’ for its second season.
