The first episode of ‘Léirmheas Leabhar’, presented by Tristan Rosenstock, will be screened on TG4 this Thursday (4th October) at 7.30pm.
‘Léirmheas Leabhar’ is a monthly book review show which will showcase the best of Irish language literature as well as give an insight into the world of publishing in the Irish Language and book events for young and older readers.
In the first programme the decision of publisher ‘Cois Life’ to cease trading will be discussed and the implications that this will have for both authors and readers.
Tristan and his guests will also remember author, poet and playwright, Liam Ó Muirthile, who passed away earlier this year.
The books ‘Camino de Santiago’ as well as early reader books ‘Bláithín ar an bPota’ & ‘Oisín ar an bPota’ will be reviewed also.
