You only have a couple of days left to be in the running to be chosen as TG4’s next weather presenter. Applications are being accepted until next Monday, 16th April.
You may be the next Daithí Ó Sé, Síle Seoighe, Aoife Ní Thuairisg, or Páidí Ó Lionáird, all of whom kickstarted their TV careers as weather presenters on TG4.
“This role is ideal for anyone who wants to develop their communication and presentation skills”, says TG4’s Director of Marketing & Development, Lís Ní Dhálaigh. “Our continuity and weather presenters are an integral part of our TG4 team. They are the voice of the channel on air and in social media and are also publicly recognised among our loyal TG4 audience”.
One of the current crop of presenters, Donegal woman, Caitlín Nic Aodha, says, “I am extemely proud to be part of the TG4 team as it is such an innovative, forward looking station, which likes to be at the cutting edge in our industry. Our work is really varied and we are always trying to be one step ahead when it comes to technological advances in the TV sphere. We have a really helpful, fun, creative and multi-talented group of people working in TG4 and I felt like I was at home here from day one”.
