Director General of TG4, Alan Esslemont, has welcomed the appointment of Joe Reddington as Editor in Chief of Nuacht TG4.

Speaking today Esslemont says, ‘Joe Reddington has an in-depth understanding of the vision of TG4 and the challenges that come with providing a contemporary news service in an ever changing world. We welcome his appointment.
‘Joe has extensive experience of working with us here at the headquarters in Baile na hAbhann and he has always put his heart and soul in to the work.
‘I am very much looking forward to working with him in the coming years, serving the Irish language and Gaeltacht communities and adding to the resources and scope of journalism through the medium of Irish’.
